A collector's coat and exceptional expression of Silk Road heritage. The Karakul Coat is a long, all-black silhouette handmade from authentic Karakul. Its richly rippled surface catches the light with subtle movement, creating a depth and texture that is both sculptural and unmistakably individual.

Karakul originates from the Central Asian Karakul sheep and has long been associated with prestige, and ceremonial outerwear. Historically known in the fur trade as Persian lamb or Astrakhan, the material is recognised for its naturally glossy, tightly curled character and distinctive patterning. 

Cut in a refined, elongated shape, this coat brings an archival material into a modern wardrobe. The deep black finish gives it a quiet authority, while the generous length and tactile surface create an elegant sense of drama.

Handmade and inherently unique, each coat carries the natural character of the Karakul from which it is crafted. No two pieces are perfectly alike, making this a rare and considered addition.
